The roster began with compiling a roster distilled from Baja-California Railways by John A. Kirchner. This compiled roster was compared to the Alco and Montreal Locomotive Works (which includes Bombardier) builder's lists found on this blog and the primary EMD Locomotive Reference Data cited below in the Bibliography. Those provided accurate builder's dates (actually the shipping dates that all builders use as the builder date) and order numbers. Status This is an incomplete project . Although accurate, more entries remain to be added.
